Annual Events

Winter Festival -Held every third weekend in March we celebrate the ending of winter with a weekend long festival full of various activities: Chainsaw competition, festival breakfast, curling bonspiel and more!

Family Festival - held every Saturday prior to Fathers Day. A fun filled day with activities for the whole family! Plan to attend and watch the parade, enjoy entertainment, taste the wings in the wing cook off and take part in the afternoon activities! The 2020 Festival will be June 13th, stay tuned to our website and facebook page for details as the date draws near.

Tri-Unity Challenge - We invite you to our Multi-K walk, jog or run event held annually on the second Saturday of August at Pasquia Regional Park. You can register for either 3K, 5K, 10K or 21K by calling 306.768.3833 beginning in May. This is an event for all ages and abilities! 2020 date is set for August 8th.

Flavours of the Outback- Held August 14th, 2020 , alongside Cruise Night and the KCRA Rodeo. Plans are underway, stay tuned.

Christmas on Main - Held November 27, 2019. Help Carrot River kick off the Holiday Season with late night shopping, activities and a bon fire at the Community Square!

Hockey Day in Carrot River - the second Saturday of December every Minor Hockey Team in Carrot River play a home game. Giving the people off Carrot River the chance to enjoy a day full of Canada's favorite sport right here at home, while cheering on our local athletes! Hockey Weekend for 2019 will be December 14: plan to come cheer players on and check out the concession specials!

Winter Wonderland on Ice - Enjoy festive skating with friends and family during the holidays as we light up and decorate our arena and offer free skating! December 2019: 23rd from 7-9pm, 24th from 1-3pm and 26th from 1-3pm

Santa Clause Day - For 2019 Carrot River Young Women's Club hosts the annual Santa Clause Day in conjunction with Christmas on Main (Nov. 27)! Visit Santa and get your picture taken! Stick around for sleigh rides!

Minor Hockey Radio Auction - Held the first Saturday in November join the Carrot River Minor Hockey and CJVR in a live radio broadcast auction, hockey games, ribs and beer garden!
