Golf is back!
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic we have received a lot of bad news, too much. Now we can rejoice (especially avid golfers) as the Government of Saskatchewan is allowing golf courses to start operations as early as May 15th! Although, with all good news that has come during this pandemic, there will be restrictions. This means golf as we know it has had to change and adapt a bit to be able to be accepted in these uncertain times. BUT golf is golf and at this point we will take whatever we can get! Luckily for us residents of the Carrot River area (and our lucky visitors) there is a beautiful golf course located 10 minutes down the highway from the town centre! This is the Pasquia Park Golf Course, and if you haven't checked it out before, now is the perfect time (I mean what else do we have to do in the time of quarantine and pandemic?).
Know someone who is in need of a visit or a little emotional care during this time? Call 306-768-3833 to make connections and get people in touch with appropriate volunteers! Our mental well being is important during this time and not everyone can connect online or through technology. We care and we are here to help!

COVID-19 is a virus that has impacted the entire world. The World Health Organization has declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. Our home province of Saskatchewan has declared a state of emergency as a response to this.
